History

After helping open the Windsor Prop Shop, Mike worked for Badger Mobile Welding and became a certified journeyman propeller repairman by the National Marine Propeller Association in 1996. When Badger Mobile Welding decided to close their doors, Mike decided to buy the equipment and use his extensive knowledge to open his own prop business. Mike's Prop Shop opened its doors in 2001. Mike's daughter, Jenny, decided to join the business in 2007. Mike's Prop Shop is a family operated welding business geared toward quality repairs and happy customers.  Our specialty lies in prop and skeg repairs as well as high performance stainless steel prop customization.
